MAJOR GENERAL NASSER AL SAYED ABDULRAZAK AL RAZOOQI
Major Gen Nasser Al Sayed Abdulrazak Al Razooqi was one of the first police officers to be with the force since its inception under the command of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who is also Head of Dubai Police and Public Security.
Dubai Police have become one of the most efficient in the region and the world, thanks to the great leadership of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and efforts and dedication of the force officers.
Major Gen Nasser had contributed to the setting up of various departments and police stations operating under Dubai Police General Headquarters, including Operations and Equipment Department, Criminal Investigations Department, Personnel Affairs Department, Police Sciences Academy and many police stations in the emirate.
Major Gen Nasser had many posts including Assistant Commander of Dubai Police for Operations and Equipment, Head of the Board of Directors of Dubai Police Academy, Assistant Commander of Dubai Police for the Headquarters and Director of various police stations in the emirate.
Major Gen Nasser is highly regarded as a founder of the sports movement in the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. He had many posts in the sports institutions: He was selected as vice president of the National Olympic Committee in the 1980s and also the first president of UAE Cycling Federation. He is currently President of the UAE Karate and Taekwondo Federation and member in the UAE National Olympic Committee.
Major Gen Nasser has been one of the distinguished sportsmen; he practiced many sports and was awarded many accolades in the fields of sport and police work. One of the most important accolades was the Olympic Order which he received in 1984 from the late Juan Antonio Samaranch who was arguably the most influential president of the International Olympic Committee.
Major Gen Nasser is also involved as a Sponsor, Agent, Sole Owner or Partner in various segments of businesses of High Repute in Dubai.
